BROW GAME

Personal Story- As we all know, a good eyebrow game is now essential for life! As I am Asian, and Asian girls tend to have many hair issues lol, good brows were important to me from a young age and to avoid looking like I have bushes above my eyes I started to get my eyebrows threaded when I was about 13 because trust me, I needed it! Anyhow, when I moved to Liverpool for Uni four years ago, I saw that the scouse girls always looked very groomed. I noticed that they had very good eyebrows and how a good brow can completely lift the face and make a massive difference to ones face! Tis was when I looked at my own overly threaded brows and bought a brow pencil to improve my brows and later I saw the 'SCOUSE BROW' trend come into fashion :D and now we all want that perfect eyebrow!

Eyebrows can be very easy to get wrong. We can either over-tweeze/thread them or we can overfill them, often with the WRONG colour too!
This is my advice on how to get your brow game strong:
  • Over-threaded brow... grow your brows! Get them done professionally to give you a good shape that you can work with.
    over-threaded
  • Sparse brow... If you naturally have sparse eyebrows invest in a brow pencil or eye-shadow, one that compliments your skin tone and hair colour is important! Try not to colour them in too dark or create a shape that doesn't fit with your natural brow.

  • Overdrawn brow... drawing way out of your natural brow shape or drawing an arch too high can look too fake and often ridiculous. It is important to control ourselves from getting too busy with that pencil! We all know that having a good brow is very important to one's makeup look these days, however this does not mean that you have to colour in too hard or overdraw them too much to make a statement and get your brows noticed!

  • Thin dark brow... all of the above!

There isn't a perfect brow that suits everybody, we have to work around our own natural brow to make the most of it. Some people may prefer the arched look or a straight brow look, however this does not mean we will necessarily suit it! Just work with what you naturally have and with the help of my tips you will have the perfect brow you have been lusting for! Below are some pictures of what I would describe as good eyebrows!
